INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT SERVICES (IOP)
IOP is a step down from PHP or a step up from traditional outpatient therapy. Usually lasts 6-8 weeks, 4 days a week after school. Participants see a member of the medical team monthly for overall wellness checks, individual counseling once a week, family counseling every other week or as needed, and includes group therapy and treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Weekly updates are sent via email to youth, family, and team members, including the medical team. Treatment plans are reviewed monthly with the youth and their team.
