Amber Careaga
Billing Specialist
Amber Careaga has been a valued member of RHS since July 2013, the same year Optum Idaho was awarded the contract to manage outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services for Idaho Medicaid recipients under the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP).
With a background in administrative support, Amber began her journey at RHS as a Receptionist for CBRS when the company operated out of separate buildings. After RHS acquired its current facility on Curlew Drive, she transitioned to a Receptionist role there, gaining extensive knowledge of the organization’s operations and electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Recognizing her expertise in the EMR system and her contributions to developing the family and peer support programs within the company, leadership saw her as a natural fit for the Billing Department. Demi and Devere entrusted her with the role, where she now plays a critical part in ensuring efficient and accurate billing processes.
