Gailen Gifford
Family/Peer Support Specialist
Gailen started with RHS in November 2021. He has always been inspired to help others, no matter their age or capabilities, to succeed and reach their goals. Gailen believes a lot of this has come from working to get his Eagle Scout award in the Boy Scouts. He is always continuing his education to have a better understanding of mental healthcare and is currently enrolled at Boise State University to obtain his degree in Social Work.
Since his High School graduation, Gailen has helped run two Idaho Falls City licensed childcare homes and owned a third for a total of 15.5 years. All his past training and certificates from this have helped him recognize different family structures. Gailen works with clients in their homes and out in the community, strengthening their social skills, well-being, and developing & achieving their own goals.
Gailen's hobbies include woodworking, board games (Monopoly being his favorite), card games, camping, cooking, and collecting Hot Wheels.
