Lauri Hayes is a contractor for Rehabilitative Health Services (RHS) and affiliate agencies, providing support in Human Resources, auditing, credentialing, policy and procedure development, and program development. She has been with RHS since 2008 and has over 16 years of experience in the mental health field, along with more than 30 years of experience across healthcare and education settings.

Lauri holds an AA degree from Taft College and an AS degree in Surgical Technology from San Joaquin Valley College. Her professional background includes work in emergency departments, surgical suites, dental offices, public health, and higher education, supporting both clinical operations and academic initiatives.

During her time at RHS, Lauri has held key roles in Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Auditing, Credentialing, and Policy and Procedure development. She has served in leadership and supervisory capacities, participated on the Executive Team, and contributed to strategic planning and program growth. She has also been involved with NAMI as a board member and has served for over 10 years on the RHS Community Mental Health Symposium and 5K planning committee.

Lauri specializes in planning and implementing medical and behavioral health programs, including Peer, Family, and Youth Support services, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), PCMH, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), STAR programs (ESMI), NHSC, and Behavioral Health Crisis Centers across Regions 6 and 7. She has supported multiple EHR implementations, including Raintree, InSync, BestNotes, and Relias, and provides HR support for the Behavioral Health Crisis Center.

She has received recognition for excellence in audit accuracy and attention to detail and was awarded a 15-year service plaque for her dedication to the mission of RHS. Lauri is passionate about building collaborative teams and innovative programs that positively impact individuals and communities.

Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, camping & fishing, traveling, photography and Art, cooking, and spending time with her family and dogs.
