Becci Malan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her master’s degree in social work and her undergraduate degree in health science with an emphasis in public health. Becci chose her career path to address the impacts of healthcare disparities and promote healing. She has been working with individuals to help them recognize personal strengths, decrease the impact of stressors, utilize resources, and find internal strength to cope with and overcome challenges in a variety of roles since 2005. She has been a therapist at RHS since 2023; she primarily works with adolescents and adults.

Becci has received additional training in complex trauma, domestic violence, sexual trauma, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, religious trauma, identity crises, perinatal mood disorders, and psychosis. Becci is also an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner; this model utilizes bilateral eye movements to help the client process past trauma, including traumas that are not remembered and trauma from what did not happen. She utilizes a strengths-based and person-centered approach within an environmental lens.

Becci enjoys spending time with her four children, eating ethnic foods, being in nature, hiking, travelling, reading, and playing with her daughter’s cat, Willow.
